Anewme.........flourishing women into destiny!
"I AM ANEWME"
Jacy Manuel was born in Boston, Massachusetts and later relocated with family to Newark, New Jersey where she was raised. She was raised by a family who instilled the importance of spiritual growth; Henceforth, making it a mandatory part of her life, that foundation built the desire in her to help people.
Since graduating from college Jacy continues to experience a long journey in the social service field. Some of her positions include: Family Service Worker, Job Plus Coordinator, Supervisor of 12 caseworkers and Planner for Essex County Workforce Investment Board. Through these positions among co-workers and clients she often found herself encouraging women and sharing her testimony. These same encounters would happen with women she worshiped with at church; Until one day, she recognized that for some women workshops and worship services weren't enough. It was those small intimate fellowships, the sharing of the testimonies and encouraging one another that would help break the shackles off the women in order for them to flourish into their destiny. With a desire to make a difference and the desire to help empower women, Jacy became the founder of Anewme Women Alliance. Anewme Women Alliance's purpose is to encourage women and help develop the young adult women where together they can flourish into their own destiny and make a difference in their community.
Jacy resides in New Jersey with her husband, together they have 3 adult children. She is a graduate of Upsala College 1995 where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Communications. In addition, Jacy has graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (May 2022) with certification in Women's Studies. Jacy is an employee of Essex County Division of Citizen Services where she currently works as a Family Service Worker.
